I grew up reading western authors like Luke Short, Max Brand and Louis L'Amour. I have to say that Doug Ball's Blood on the Zuni rates right up there with the best. He kept me mesmerized to the very end.
First of Doug's books I read. Not a real western fan, but this one great! I could not put it down. I liked it better than the Louie La-Moore I tried.
